Meet Brittany
Brittany Hudgens joined the Hofheimer Family Law Firm team in 2026 after practicing family law at two other local area family law firms. Prior to joining the HofLaw team, Brittany also worked for the Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Hampton, where she prosecuted in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court – cases involving domestic violence, child abuse and protection, and protective orders.
Brittany graduated from Regent University School of Law in May of 2022, eight whole years after her undergraduate graduation from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014. In the interim, she worked as a client associate at Wells Fargo, where she worked on cases involving a wide-ranging category of issues, including class action lawsuits, estate planning disputes, and powers of attorney. She also earned a FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative License – a credential allowing stockbrokers to buy and sell securities, like stocks, bonds, and mutual funds – which also helps inform her ability to navigate more complicated equitable distribution issues.
Brittany particularly enjoys litigation and has experience in many courts – both circuit and juvenile – all across Hampton Roads. She also has prior experience, in addition to her work in the financial sector at Wells Fargo, with several other areas of law, including estate planning and financial services.
