Girl’s Night Out at Lucky Oyster in Virginia Beach

Posted on Oct 3, 2014 by Katie Carter

Last week, we celebrated another Girl’s Night Out at Calypso at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and it was a huge success!  It was a great venue, with spectacular views of the water, and, even though it finally felt like fall, we were able to spend a little bit of time looking out across the ocean.  It’s particularly beautiful this time of year, especially when it’s a little bit stormy.

We shared some appetizers, drank a few drinks, and caught up with each other.  It’s always so much fun!  I’m always surprised, too, when I leave the event, at how much I really needed a girl’s night (but sometimes I’m just not always that in tune with what I need).  I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to hang out with such amazing women!

If you missed it, don’t worry.  We’ve got another Girl’s Night Out event in the works!  On November 4th (that’s a Tuesday), we’ll be meeting up at the Lucky Oyster in at 2165 General Booth Boulevard in Virginia Beach from 6-8pm.

If you haven’t been to one of our events before, you should definitely come!  We’re a really friendly group of girls, and we love to meet new people.  If you’re a little nervous about coming alone, bring a female friend along.  No divorce is required, so it doesn’t matter if you’re not facing a divorce, separation, or custody case.  In fact, we make it a point to talk about anything BUT divorce!  We’re just here to network and make friends and enjoy a nice evening away from kids and families and work.  We provide the drinks and some appetizer-like snacks, so it’s totally free to you.

If you’d like to register ahead of time, just click here.  We’ll talk you directly to our page, where you can see a few more details about the upcoming event, and pre-register to attend.  You don’t have to register ahead of time, but it does help give us a better idea of how many people to expect (so that we can communicate with the folks down at Lucky Oyster and let them know how much food to make).  If you can’t register, that’s okay; come anyway!  The more the merrier, for sure.

If you’ve attended one of our events before, go to www.gnohr.com and join our private Facebook community!  On the site, you’ll be able to talk to other event attendees in between events, see the pictures we’ve taken at our events, and get more information about our other upcoming events.  (Sorry, but you have to actually attend an event to join the group; we just want to make sure we keep it as exclusive and private as possible.)

These events are tons of fun, and I hope to see you there!  Again, to register ahead of time, just click here.
