Girl’s Night Out at The Lucky Oyster in Virginia Beach

Last month, we celebrated our second annual Un-Valentine’s Day Party at Cotton Southern Bistro in the Hilltop West Shopping Center. We had a great group of women show up to celebrate the day with us! Single, married, divorcing, whatever—it doesn’t matter, we have a great group of successful, exciting, encouraging, supportive women, and that’s something worth celebrating every single day.
Over the last two years, our Girl’s Night Out events have grown. It’s really crazy now to think back to our beginnings. For those of us who have been going all along, it has been a really great way to make friends and build strong relationships that have stood the test of time.
I know women who have come to Girl’s Night Out and have walked away with a whole group of brand new best friends. Still others have walked away with jobs or interviews, and certainly all have walked away with a smile on their face from spending an easygoing night with the girls. In the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the year, it’s nice to have a couple hours to spend with friends. No job, no kids, no husbands or boyfriends; really, no demands, except to have a good time.
Our Girl’s Night Out events have become huge; our private Facebook group grows every single day. It’s so exciting to be a part of something that is so unique and so fun.
If you haven’t had a chance to attend yet, I hope you’ll try to make it to our next event. You don’t have to come alone; bring a (female) friend, family member, co-worker, neighbor, or acquaintance. There’s no divorce or custody case required (in fact, even though we’re a family law firm, we make it a point not to discuss divorce or custody cases at all at Girl’s Night Out!).
