Girl’s Night Out: Ocean View Fishing Pier

GNO at OVFP

All the single ladies – come to Girl’s Night Out! Getting divorced or going through a custody case isn’t easy, and it’s a lot harder when you don’t have a tribe! I saw a meme the other day that said, “They need a dating app for 40 year-old divorced women looking for a trio of other 40 year-old divorced women who want to just Golden Girl the shit out of the rest of their lives,” and it made me think of this amazing group!

We don’t have an app (not yet, of course, though I will pitch that idea) but we DO have an awesome way for divorced/divorcing women to network and socialize and, yes, meet their other Golden Girl soulmates.

I hear a lot of times that women lose friends in the divorce process. Sometimes it happens automatically – like you lose the wife of your husband’s best friend – but it happens other times just because distance tends to grow and other people don’t know what to say. It’s hard, sometimes, to be friends with happily marrieds.

There’s no right or wrong of it, and I’m not here to judge or to say anything at all other than – if you’re going through this, you need some dedicated girlfriends by your side. If you don’t have them already, I have a way for you to meet them! (And, even if you DO have some, a few more couldn’t hurt, right?)

If you’re looking for the Rose to your Blanche, or the Sophia to your Dorothy, join us at Girl’s Night Out! It’s totally free to you, so what’s the risk?

Our next Girl’s Night out will be Wednesday, June 19th from 6-8pm at the Top Deck Bar at the Ocean View Fishing Pier. Have you been there? It’s seriously ah-mazing! It’s one of my favorite spots, and one of our biggest events each year. We rent out half of the top deck – which has these amazing panoramic views of the beach and the ocean – with great swinging booths and giant Adirondack chairs and tons of amazing picture-perfect selfie (or groupie) spots.

For more information or to register to attend, visit our website or give us a call at 757-425-5200. Want to bring a friend? She’s welcome to come along, too! You can register her online, or just show up at the door. We hope to see you in June at the Ocean View Fishing Pier!
