You asked for it! In April, we’ll be back in Newport News for our ever-popular event series, Girl’s Night Out. We’ve had a series of awesome events lately–our Christmas Party at Yard House in December, our private movie screening of Hidden Figures at Beach Movie Bistro, and our annual “I Hate Valentine’s Day” party at Calliente Cantina–but they’ve all been in Virginia Beach. (I can assure you, it wasn’t intentional; it’s just kind of the way the events stacked up for awhile there.)
It’s definitely time to get back to the Peninsula, which is why we planned our April event with Newport News in mind. On Wednesday, April 5th, we’ll be at Tradition Brewing Company in City Center in Newport News.
It’s a brand new venue, and the first craft brewery in Newport News. I have to admit, I haven’t been there yet, but I’ve heard such good things–and I drove by, and it looks totally awesome. We did a brewery in Virginia Beach (Beach Brewing Company) awhile back, and the event was such a hit, we figured we’d try it in Newport News, too!
The brewery doesn’t serve food, so we’ve contracted with a local food truck to come serve a couple different kinds of sliders to our group as well–so we’re also really excited about that. Cool, right?
It should be a fun event, and it’s a cool new experience, too–I always like to try new things. Unfortunately, I won’t personally be at this one (I’ll be out on maternity leave by then), but we’ll have lots of people from the office on hand to make sure that this event is as fun as all the rest have been!
