If you don’t already have plans, you should join us next week for our Girl’s Night Out event. We’ll be in Newport News this time (because one of our attorneys, Shannon Lemm, practices there, and we’ve got to show the Peninsula girls some love, too) at the Brewhouse Tavern in trendy Port Warwick. We were in Port Warwick awhile back, when we went to Fin, and had such a good time. It’s a great, convenient, central location with plenty of parking and lots of tasty restaurants, so this one should be a great event, too.
These events are designed to be purely social in nature, so don’t worry—just come. Some of our attorneys and staff will be on hand, so that you can meet and get to know us, but this isn’t a time where we talk about ourselves or divorce. Really, it’s all about you! We know how, when you’re going through a divorce, it can feel like you’re isolated, like your husband got to keep all the friends, or even like the friends you do have just don’t understand right now. If you’re feeling that way, that’s okay! And that’s exactly what these events were designed to help do. We’re providing an easy way to make other local friends and network with other professional women. We’ve heard about women getting interviews and jobs from these events, so they can really be super important.
