Girl’s Night Out Holiday Party at Schooner’s

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  (I don’t know about THAT, exactly, because I’m pretty partial to sunny at 75, but – Christmas is nice, too.)

For the FOURTH year in a row now, we’re sponsoring a Girl’s Night Out holiday party to celebrate the season with all of our awesome friends, both new and old.  So far, we’ve done a Christmas party at one of our friend’s houses in Virginia Beach (that was so much fun!), the Crab Shack in Newport News, Yard House in Virginia Beach’s Town Center, and now, this year, we’re having another event at Schooner’s in Newport News on December 13th, a Wednesday, from 6-8pm.

Now, I know that’s a drive for some of our Southside friends, but, since it’s Christmas (and the tunnel traffic is so much better in the winter), we’re definitely hoping you’ll still make it a point to come.  Our Peninsula clients need some love and support, too, and we’re not on that side of the water nearly as often as we are on the Southside.  Plus we’ve also got a new Newport News attorney, Ashli Pack, and her paralegal, Jenn Trent, who need to feel welcomed to the group as well.

It’s a really popular local spot for those of you who are familiar with the Newport News area (yours truly grew up there, and recently moved back!) so it should be tons of fun.  We’ve ordered lots and lots of delicious finger foods, and we’ve arranged for some drink specials to be made available for anyone who’d like to enjoy an adult beverage or two.  (If you don’t drink, though, don’t worry – there’s plenty of tea, soda, water or other non-alcoholic beverages, if you’d prefer.)

For more information about the event, or to go ahead and register to attend (please do, if you can, as it helps us on the planning side), just click here.   Not sure whether you’re coming?  Don’t let your lack of registration stop you; if you find, the day of the event, that you’re freer than you thought, come on!  Bring a (lady!) friend with you, too, if you’d like; we know how scary it can be to show up alone!   Bottom line: We’d love to see you!  These events are so important to us, and they’re so much fun, too.  We hope you’ll be able to make it, and we look forward to seeing you there.
