I know, I know—it’s no secret that we’re a Virginia law firm representing women only in divorce and custody cases. Still, no divorce or custody case is required for you to come! In fact, we don’t talk about divorce or custody at all. We provide these events as a service to local area women, so that they have an opportunity to get out of the house, socialize, and network. Whether you’re looking for a couple more friends nearby, you’ve already got a group of girlfriends and you’re looking for something to do on a Wednesday night, you’re hoping to meet someone who will help you get that break you’ve been looking for, or some other reason (this is definitely not an exhaustive list of reasons why you might want to come!), we’d love to see you at Girl’s Night Out. I’ll say it again: no divorce or custody case required. No strings attached at all; just bring your lovely self and, if you’d like, a female friend, family member, coworker, or acquaintance. (We understand it’s scary to come alone and, besides that, it’s totally not necessary.)
If you’ve never been, you should definitely come. Trust me, we’re fun. You’ll like us. And it’s super easy. These events are “happy hour” style, so you can feel free to come and go. You don’t have to be there right at 6, and you don’t have to stay until 8 (though many people do and actually stay on after the event has ended); it’s up to you, so you should feel free to make it work for your schedule. There’s no agenda, you won’t have to participate in any silly icebreakers (don’t you hate those?), and you can be sure that you’ll be chatting it up with a group of fun, local, Virginia women in no time.

Strictly speaking, you don’t have to register ahead of time, it just gives us an idea of how much food to have prepared. (That way, no one is sitting around hungry waiting for another plate of appetizers to come out!) If you think that you have plans that night but somehow wind up free, we’d still love to have you, registered or not! Want to bring a friend? Please do! In fact, our motto is definitely “the more the merrier!”
